By this I mean that there has been a lot of buzz recently around the railcard concept thanks to the announcement of the Young Person’s railcard, which is partly to do with the cost of living going up and online bus tickets that have inflated prices. We can also see that there is a bus which runs all night, called the N7. You can really go down to the nitty gritty of which bus number 7 is. I like public transport because you get to see the city in a different way. I’m not a local so it makes me feel like a tourist, but in my home city. This hotel is beautifully designed throughout. From the minimalist black and white and leather interiors to the striking artworks. Each room has an individual design which compliment the overall style well. The rooms themselves are quite spacious and have everything you’d expect in a modern hotel such as air conditioning, flatscreen TV, safe, wifi (free) and toiletries.
One thing I really liked was how Malmaison have used natural materials, such as wood flooring, in some of the rooms. The hotel has a gym on site. Malmaison Brighton is located on the waterfront at Brighton Marina. There are a number of excellent dining rooms and bars to choose from here, each offering a great range of food and drink options. For food, start downstairs in the Shoreline Restaurant and for drinks visit the Havana Bar.
The Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel is just next door but this has its own bar, so no need to cross the road. Malmaison Brighton is located on the waterfront at Brighton Marina. There are a number of things to see and do in Brighton, including the Royal Pavilion, gardens and many independent shops and restaurants. The original proposal for the marina came in for criticism from many local residents and other interested parties, including the council's own planning officer, who expressed grave reservations about such a large development on the foreshore of Brighton without adequate car parking.
