NHS staff, Health andSocial Care Workers and NHS Volunteer Responders

Exeter City Council’s decision to end free parking for patients leaving city hospitals has been met with protest by campaigners. A petition calling on the council to rethink its decision has been signed by more than 13,000 people. The council granted exemptions from the charge to NHS staff, health or social care workers and NHS volunteer responders.  I have changed the information supplied about free car parking after speaking with GMH and Sainsbury’s on this.

Parking is free in our car park at the hospital for NHS staff, Health or Social Care Workers and NHS Volunteer Responders who require a permit, more about plumbing with Brighton and Hove Life (brightonandhovelife.co.uk). This applies to everyone who works on the hospital site – not just doctors and nurses. We are now only providing free parking for NHS staff, Health or Social Care Workers and NHS Volunteer Responders while they carryout their duties in line with the guidance in the link below.

Seafront Brighton

It is possible that driver and passengers will see cars parking or leaving the car park but they would not have a clear view of the machines at any time. We try to make sure that we make regular checks on the machines and this is done in such a way that we are not observed by the public or any employees from other companies. Seafront Brighton has long been a favourite place for Brightonians to visit and today the park is Brighton’s lucky dip.

Whether you like extreme sports, skateboarding or chilling out on deck chairs, the seafront offers an endless choice of ways to enjoy yourself in beautiful surroundings. This blog is designed for those who are living in the seaside town Brighton and want to keep up with the seafront news. After all, constantly checking the official website can be quite a task - who got what licence, are there any events, how do I get somewhere and so on?.

Rottingdean

Have you ever been driving along and thought, “Wow, this is amazing?” Or perhaps you’ve had the chance to go for a walk in the countryside and just watch nature at work. Well, Rottingdean is one of those places. It really is quite unique, from the feel of the place to the people that make it a special part of the world. Rottingdean will forever remain forever special to me. Little did I know when I was living there that 35 years later my books would be based on its lovely lanes and surrounds.

If you are looking to park in Rottingdean, it is important to know what the parking charges are. Not only that but you also need to have a parking ticket or permit. This is so that no one can use your spot whilst you are away. The council has a number of parking machines inside and outside the car parks in Rottingdean. Parking tickets can be bought from the machines. There are also permits for people who have problems with mobility.
